All the staff were friendly, helpful, caring and very accommodating towards me and baby especially with baby in NICU and me staying in longer as I am breastfeeding. Every time I wanted to know how baby was doing, the staff would find out as much information as possible and inform me. I was really taken care of very well.

The whole ward was great, especially Irene cajiwg, Deputy Sister and a staff nurse Pamela and peter. They all took great care of me and made my stay there more bearable. The agency nurses had a don’t care attitude which let it down.
Suggested improvements
Better agency nurses, they had a cannot be bothered attitude and made more work for the permanent members.

The care team in the Trational NICU unit have been amazing. They have talked me through every step of my son’s treatment taking the best care of him throughout. They take all the time in the world to support and help you care for your little ones I feel more confident with becoming a parent and being able to care for my child including basic training steps.

Both NICU and TC have given us the best possible care. At all times they have been kind, caring and understanding whilst involving us in all decisions about our son. I cannot fault any member of staff, they have been outstanding and we cannot thank them enough.

I felt very comfortable with the physio over video call as it was my first time i was nervous
